Jacques de Werra
is Professor of intellectual property law and of contract law at the University of Geneva. He earned a law degree and a doctorate in law at the University of Lausanne (Switzerland). He also holds a Master's degree in Law (LLM) from Columbia University and was admitted to the bar in both Geneva and New York.He teaches (he has been visiting professor at Stanford Law School, City University of Hong Kong and Nagoya University - among other Universities -), conducts research, publishes, and lectures in the areas of intellectual property, information technology, and contract law (with an emphasis on IP licensing and technology transfer). Prof. de Werra enjoys an extensive academic and practical expertise in IP dispute resolution mechanisms (specifically arbitration).He has created a summer school dedicated to Internet law (Internet l@w summer school) at the University of Geneva and is also in charge of a summer school on intellectual property which is organized in cooperation with the World Intellectual Property Organization. He was named Vice-Rector of the University of Geneva in 2015.

Sam Granata
Is a judge at the Court of Appeal of Antwerp (Belgium) and at the Benelux Court of Justice (Luxembourg). He is an external member of the Enlarged Board of Appeal of the EPO. Before his appointment as judge, he was an IP-lawyer/mediator and university assistant (Catholic University of Law (Louvain, Belgium).He is a member of the "Conseil Benelux de la Propriété Intellectuelle" and permanent member of the Belgian Federal Advisory Board for Intellectual Property (industrial property section). He was a member of the Legal Framework Group of the Unified Patent Court (Subgroup 1: Rules of Procedures of the Court and Subgroup 6: Rules on Mediation and Arbitration).He is the co-author of "The Unitary Patent and the Unified Patent Court (Kluwer International Law, 2017) and frequent speaker at national and international IP-related events.

Philipp Groz
Is a dispute resolution partner at the Swiss law firm Schellenberg Wittmer and heads the IP and life sciences teams. He regularly represents clients in litigation and arbitration pro-ceedings with a focus on disputes related to IP, unfair competition, licensing and distribution. He also sits as an arbitrator.He is listed as a neutral with the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center and a board member of Licensing Executives Society Switzerland. He is recognized in Who's Who Legal's Future Leaders Arbitration rankings in 2017 and 2018. Philipp graduated from the law school of the University of Zurich and also earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from NYU Law.

Luis Herranz Ruiz de la Fuente, LL.M.
Intellectual property and business lawyer with experience in law firm and industry. L.L.M on Intellectual Property Law and New Technologies by the Universidad Autónoma of Madrid. Admitted to the Madrid Bar Association.Luis advises clients on intellectual property, entertainment, telecommunications, and litigation related to copyright and patents issues. Experience in various sectors, since procedural law to intellectual property rights commercialisation. Accustomed to working in an international environment. Development of his career on any kind of corporations: consultancy, law firms and companies. Experience in Europe (in Sweden and Germany), working for Ericsson on an international research project. Currently he works as a junior lawyer in "DA Lawyers", a mid-size Spanish law firm. Besides his native language Spanish, Luis is fluent in English and has basic knowledge of German.
